The Knowledge Engagement team invites UCalgary faculty members interested in delivering a public talk as part of The Latest Research On… series to submit an expression of interest by September 17, 2020.

The Latest Research On… is a public talk series hosted in partnership between the UCalgary Knowledge Engagement team and the Calgary Public Library. The public talk series will launch in Fall 2020 and run through Spring 2021. We are inviting expressions of interests on the following themes, identified in collaboration with the Calgary Public Library:

  • Canada’s relationship with China: past, present and future
  • New developments in robotics
  • Manipulation of information in the news/media (including the role of tech giants)
  • Big data
