The Alberta Transplant Institute (ATI) is delighted to annually dedicate funding for the Summer Research Studentship program. The annual ATI Summer Studentships allow undergraduate students the opportunity to undertake a summer research project in the laboratory of an ATI member. This remarkable initiative promises to nurture young talents and driving progress in the field of organ donation and transplantation research.
For the 2026 competition, we are proud to dedicate three awards for undergraduate students undertaking research under the supervision of an ATI member, spanning various domains of organ donation and transplantation. We are also continuing to dedicate one award specific to a research related to lung transplantation that has been possible via a generous donation from Ms. Nancy Fleming.
4 total awards are available for Summer Research Studentship program for an undergraduate or MD program registered student across Alberta supervised by an ATI member.
