Girls Activity and Participation Study in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (GAPS-IDD)

Summary

This study aims to find out why this population does or does not engage in physical activity and sport. We will also look into the overall health and wellbeing of this population. The population is women and girls with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD).

Eligibility

Currently recruiting participants: Yes

Eligible ages: 7 to 25

Accepts healthy participants: Yes

Inclusion criteria:

People who 1) were born with a uterus, 2) are 7-25 years old, 3) have an intellectual or developmental disability, 4) are able to read and speak English

Exclusion criteria:

You are not eligible to participate if you 1) were not born with a uterus, 2) are younger than 7 years old, 3) are older than 25 years old, 4) do not have an intellectual or developmental disability, 5) are not able to read and speak English
