International Pediatric Brugada Registry

Summary

This study aims to understand how younger patients are affected by the electrical condition known as Brugada syndrome, which can cause cardiac arrest and fainting with certain triggers (e.g. fever, medications, illegal drugs). By joining the study, you will help to contribute to the world's understanding of this rare disease, only about 1 in 2000 children, and help us learn how to better diagnose, treat, and help these families.

Eligibility

Currently recruiting participants: Yes

Eligible ages: 0 to 20

Accepts healthy participants: Yes

Inclusion criteria:

Eligibility criteria includes the following:
1. Having a diagnosis of Brugada Syndrome
2. Having a gene that causes Brugada Syndrome even if you do not have evidence of the disease yet

Exclusion criteria:

People who do not meet the above criteria
