Parent and Child Perspectives on Anxiety
Summary
This study is about how parents and adolescents think about anxiety and when they believe someone may need extra support. If you choose to take part, you and your child will each complete a separate interview where you can share your thoughts and experiences. What we learn may help improve our understanding of how families recognize anxiety and decide when it is time to seek help.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 12 to 18
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
1) Both parent and child are willing to participate
2) Adolescent child is in the 12-18 years old
3) Have engaged in discussions about mental health, specifically anxiety, with your child
