The Innovation Collective
The Innovation Collective is an inclusive group of people across UCalgary faculties, centres, hubs, and institutes that convene and formally engage regularly as an ecosystem that supports innovation and social impact work.
With the purpose to identify strengths, understand gaps, and address common challenges, the collaborative fosters a culture of awareness and collaboration to advance innovation-based work by connecting individuals to appropriate touchpoints within our ecosystem to drive positive change.

Social Innovation Playbook: Unlocking Universities for Impact
A resource designed for post-secondaries to strengthen their capacity to support social innovation as a core part of their innovation ecosystems.
When universities intentionally create space for social innovation, they expand the range of pathways through which impact can be achieved.
Developed in collaboration by the Social Innovation Hub and Oxentia Ltd, the playbook is part of a wider effort to better understand how the different facets of an innovation ecosystem can advance positive societal change.
