Social Innovation and Complexity

Chairs: Katharine McGowan (Mount Royal University, Canada), Sean Geobey (University of Waterloo, Canada), Maryam Mohiuddin Ahmed (University of Waterloo, Canada)

Description:
We invite any and all social innovation scholars and practitioners grappling with complexity to join us for rich, challenging, and stimulating set of discussion. We particularly welcome those with methodological questions, promising examples and disruptive questions about how to think about, study, and work in complexity. Questions we welcome: How does emergent practice(s) and liminal leadership effect our work as social innovators and social innovation scholars? How do we continue to advance, deepen and refine complexity-informed methods? How do we respect and engage cross-epistemological discussions to encourage reciprocity, systems healing and building resiliency?
