The Consortium received $15.569 million in total project funds from various federal, provincial and private sources to be spent over 5 years.  $6.315 million was awarded through the Major Innovation Fund (MIF) from the Ministry of Jobs, Economy and Northern Development, and $9.254 million was leveraged through matching funds.
