Brian Traynor is Associate Professor and Chair of the undergraduate Information Design program at Mount Royal University. Courses taught: Information Architecture, Usability, and Project and Content Management. Brian has research interests in user satisfaction measures and the attribution of blame by users. He has participated in a number of CUE studies assessing best practices in various aspects of usability testing – most recently on moderator effectiveness. Brian has been actively involved with the IEEE Professional Communication Society (Treasurer). He spent 20 years in Telecom and IT Technical Communications before returning to an academic environment.
