Dr. Rennert-May received her medical degree from the University of Toronto in 2011. She then pursued an Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Alberta which she completed in 2016. Following this she completed an Advanced Fellowship in Antimicrobial Stewardship concurrently with a Master of Science degree in Health Economics at the University of Calgary. Dr. Rennert-May works as an infectious diseases physician with an academic role as an assistant professor at the University of Calgary where her research focuses on Health Economics, Antimicrobial Stewardship/Antimicrobial Resistance and Infection Prevention and Control.
