Biography

Andrea Kormylo received her BFA at the University of Victoria in 2009 and completed a Marketing Diploma at SAIT’s School of Business in 2012. After working as Office Manager for a private oil and gas company in Alberta for several years, she decided to pursue a Master of Planning at the University of Calgary, focusing on Regional and Environmental Planning. Upon graduation in 2016, she moved to Invermere, British Columbia and took a position at the College of the Rockies as Program Coordinator for the Continuing Education program. In 2019, Andrea returned to Calgary and accepted a position as the Administrative Coordinator at the University of Calgary. She is now responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies to support One Health at UCalgary and the AMR – One Health Consortium, and is working to operationalize the Masters of Transdisciplinary Studies, One Health Specialization degree program.
