Illuminating Research Data Management

Professional Development Webinar Series

October 2022 - April 2023

Illuminating Research Data Management is a webinar series designed to empower researchers to confidently work with data at all phases of their research program.

Over the next 8 months, UCalgary will be hosting a series of webinars to help prepare the research community for the incoming Tri-Agency Research Data Management (RDM) Policy. This policy requires researchers to adopt sound RDM and data stewardship practices, including Data Management Plans and Data Deposit. The Tri-Agencies will be implementing the policy in stages over the next few years.

We are preparing for a future state in which most Tri-Agency funding opportunities will have a data management requirement included in their application process.

Illuminating RDM is presented with the support of a SSHRC Connection Grant.
