Across the campus, guests can find comfortable seating and workspaces in places like the Taylor Family Digital Library, MacEwan Student Centre, and Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning.

The closest public parking lots to the MacEwan Hall are Lots 10 and 11 along Collegiate Boulevard. Parking in the MacEwan Student Centre Parkade is also available anytime at a daily or hourly rate. Additional covered parking is available at The Arts Parkade located a five minute walk from MacEwan Conference & Event Centre. Visitors can use the Parkedin app on their smartphone at any flat rate or hourly lot on campus.  See the  parking  map  for additional information.  

• Rent a Car:  At the Calgary International Airport , you can look out for the Car Rental Center elevator signage. On the second level you will find the counters of multiple major car rental companies including Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Thrifty. The drive from the airport to the University is 18.1 km and will only take approximately 30 minutes. You can also book your rental car in Calgary before your trip.
• Taxi: Taxis are available outside the airport, offering convenient transportation upon arrival. You can also book a taxi online with Calgary United Cab or call at 403.777.1111. When arriving by taxi, please ask your driver to drop you off at MacEwan Hall.
• Public Transit: UCalgary enjoys convenient access through Calgary's Light Rail Transit lines and numerous major bus routes. Please visit Calgary Transit for route information and schedules.
• Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are available ridesharing services in Calgary. You can use the app to request a ride and input the campus address as your destination.

• Public Transport: To travel from Downtown Calgary to the University of Calgary's main campus, take public transit with either the CTrain or bus. For the CTrain, board the Red Line at any downtown station heading towards Tuscany or Crowfoot and get off at University station. Various bus routes connect downtown Calgary to the University of Calgary.

• Walking: From Alt Hotel University District., you may be able to walk to the University of Calgary main campus. The distance is approximately 1.4 kilometers and takes approximately 18 minutes to walk.
• Public Transit (Calgary Transit): You can take Calgary Transit bus to reach the University of Calgary main campus. Walk to EB University AV @ Smith St NW to EB 24 AV NW @ Upton PL. Then walk about 500m to 2500 University Dr NW.
• Taxi/Cab: Taxis and cabs are readily available in Calgary. You can hail a taxi or use ride-hailing services like Uber or Lyft to get from Alt Hotel University District to the University of Calgary main campus. When arriving by taxi, please ask your driver to drop you off at MacEwan Hall.

• From Lot 10 - Walk south through the parking lot and cross at the 4-way stop. Follow side walk towards Olympic Oval - look for the large red sculpture that looks like a paperclip
• From Lot 11 - Walk through the parking lot and across street towards Olympic Oval then turn left after crossing
• Turn left at the Olympic Oval, and continue down the sidewalk past Roger Jackson Building on your right-hand side
• MacEwan Student Centre (MSC) will be the glass building on your right-hand side
• Enter building, turn left and walk through food court. The MacEwan Conference & Event Centre is at the far east end of the building.

There is a campus map located at the bottom of the C-Train station stairs on the UCalgary side.

• Walk west across platform over Crowchild Trail 
• Follow path west past Biology Building
• Follow path under walkway near Social Sciences Building
• Follow path through open area with large metal sculpture
• Enter MacEwan Student Centre
• You will enter building on the 1st floor- The Den doors will be on your left, MacEwan Hall on your right
• Walk up stairs directly in front of you; turn right at top of stairs- you are in MacEwan Conference & Event Centre
