The Quan Health Data Analytics Summit is an immersive learning experience in health data research and analytics, bringing together leading international experts and participant-driven project development. Honouring the legacy of Dr. Hude Quan, this summit carries forward his impact by equipping participants with practical skills in health data analytics and administration to address complex, real-world challenges.

Participants will be staying at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. It is a world-class venue offering inspiring spaces for learning and collaboration, surrounded by the breathtaking Canadian Rockies.

Dining
Various dining options are included for each day of the summit.
- Summit meals (Sept 28 – Oct 1): All meals, including daily breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, are provided for all conference days.
- Evening Reception: A networking Welcome Reception is scheduled for the evening of September 28, 2026, followed by dinner.
Note: Guests arriving on September 27 are responsible for arranging their own meals for that day.

No, transportation will not be provided during the event. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
Banff is located 1.5 hours from Calgary International Airport (YYC). If you are driving yourself to the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, please note that a Banff National Park pass is required. You can purchase a pass online in advance or at the park gates upon arrival.

If you wish to extend your visit in Banff after the event, you are responsible for booking additional nights with the Banff Centre directly or finding alternate accommodations. UCalgary staff will not be able to assist with these arrangements.
Registration fees include four nights' accommodation at the Banff Centre from September 27, 2026 to October 1, 2026. Room bookings for these four nights have been arranged as part of your registration.
If your spouse or family members are travelling with you, they are welcome to enjoy the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity amenities, explore Banff National Park, and participate in local activities while you attend the sessions.
If you're bringing a spouse or guest, the reserved rooms at the Banff Centre can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.
Third and fourth occupants over the age of 14 may be subject to an additional fee of $20.00 per person, per night.
Vistas Dining Lounge is the on-site buffet
Hours of service are:
- Breakfast: 7:30- 9:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 5:30 -7:30 p.m.
Meal rates are:

- Dinner: $47
Note: Children Age 6-12 are priced at $23.50 per meal. Children age 5 and under are complimentary for all Vistas Dining Lounge meals.
Additional on-site food venues include:
- Le Cafe (take-away coffee and pastries): 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- MacLab Bistro (dine-in): 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
No, childcare services will not be provided during the event. Attendees are responsible for making their own childcare arrangements if travelling with family.
