Association of Faculties of Medicine in Canada Awards

Eligibility

The nomination for all awards, with the exception of the Indigenous Health Advocacy Awards,  must be made by a letter of nomination by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the nominee’s school. Each Faculty may nominate one nominee for each award. The Indigenous Health Advocacy Awards must be made by a letter of nomination, which can be submitted by Indigenous communities such as through Elders and Knowledge Keepers, or by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the nominee’s school with support from Indigenous community leaders. Each Faculty may nominate one nominee.

Summary

The AFMC Awards recognize and celebrate distinguished individuals for their leadership, excellence and achievements in academic medicine.
