The Effect of Virtual Care on Individuals Affected by Diabetes

Summary

The purpose of this study is to explore feelings on virtual care from people and healthcare providers of high blood sugar in pregnancy in Alberta. This information will help us determine if there are differences between virtual and in-person care and how to change care in the future.

If you volunteer to participate in this study, the researcher will ask you to do the following:

- Answer a brief survey about your background and experiences with diabetes in pregnancy care, which should take no longer than 10 minutes.

- Share your experiences and perspectives in a guided discussion as part of an interview or focus group. This will either be in person or online via a video conferencing platform such as Zoom.

- Have your video and audio recorded

- Review a summary of the study findings by email when available
