Exploring Chinese-Canadian Men’s Constructions of Health and Wellness

Summary

There is limited research looking into Chinese-Canadian men's health and wellness. This study aims to investigate three general questions:

1. What ideas do Chinese-Canadian men have around health and wellness?

2. How has history, culture, and society influenced Chinese-Canadian men's ideas around health and wellness?

3. How might physical activity influence Chinese-Canadian men's ideas around health and wellness?

Eligibility

Currently recruiting participants: No

Eligible ages: 18 to 99

Accepts healthy participants: Yes

Inclusion criteria:

This study is looking for the following participants:

1. Chinese-Canadian man

2. First or second-generation Canadian immigrant

3. English-speaking

4. Age 18 or older

Exclusion criteria:

People who do not self-identify as Chinese Canadian men and are under 18 are not eligible for this study. They will also be excluded if they cannot communicate in English.
