Modulating Thought Dynamics Within the Dynamic Framework
Summary
The types of thoughts we engage in can both support and interfere with other types of cognition depending on the context. The goal of the present study is to examine what factors may impact these different types of thoughts.
We will ask participants to come into our lab at the university for two sessions taking place about 1 week apart. Each session will last approximately 60 minutes and will involve watching a series of videos. Before, during, or after the videos participants will be asked questions about their current thoughts as well as their mood.
