Strength Amidst Struggles: Emerging Adults with ADHD
Summary
This study intends to investigate resilience and stressors such as stigma, anti-mattering, loneliness, and stress. The purpose is to understand how young adults with ADHD are both thriving and struggling. The study will ask participants to fill out questionnaires online. Participants will be entered into a draw for one of several $25 giftcards as a thanks for participating.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 25
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
We are looking for both people with AND without ADHD.
Young adults who are:
1) Between 18 to 25 years of age.
2) Communicate in English (read and oral communication).
For ADHD Group: 3a) Either have a formal ADHD diagnosis from a medical or mental health professional.
For Without ADHD Group: 3b) Have no diagnosis of ADHD.
Exclusion criteria:
1) Must have no previous diagnosis of psychosis, epilepsy, or major gross neurological, sensory, or motor impairments.
