Strength and Stigma
Summary
We are interested in gaining an understanding of the experiences of children with and without ADHD and their families, building on a strengths-based perspective. Families will complete surveys/questionnaires to gain a better understanding of the strengths and stigmas associated with children with ADHD and their families.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 6 to 17
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
1. Child diagnosed with ADHD by a medical professional (e.g., family doctor, psychologist), aged 6-17 years
2. Child aged 6-17 years without ADHD
2. Parents: proficient English skills in reading, writing, speaking
Exclusion criteria:
No other neurological conditions (e.g., Autism, Tourette's, intellectual disabiilty)
