Transforming the Field Education Landscape: Intersections of Research and Practice in the Canadian Social Work Field Education
Summary
The purpose of the study is to integrate research and practice in the preparation of the next generation of social workers by developing training initiatives, both within academia and across the public and not-for-profit sectors, that enhance student and trainee research practice knowledge and applied skill development. The results from the study will inform the development of sustainable models for field education.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 105
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
Field coordinators, field instructors, students, postdoctoral fellows, and social work practitioners working in the context of Canadian social work field education. Ethics amendment (Oct. 2021): TFEL Members which include TFEL Co-Investigators, Collaborators, and Partners.
Exclusion criteria:
You are not eligible to participate if you have not had direct experience in social work field education.
