Understanding how support at work feels for moms returning after parental leave
Summary
This study looks at how new mothers feel about the help they get from coworkers when they return to work after having a baby. Sometimes, offers of help can feel supportive, and other times they can feel unhelpful or even insulting. We want to understand why this happens.
The purpose of this study is to learn how mothers’ own thoughts and feelings about their work and abilities affect how they see help from others. By learning more about this, we hope to find better ways for workplaces to support mothers returning to work.
If you take part, you will complete an online survey about your experiences and how you see different kinds of support at work. The survey takes about 20 to 25 minutes. If you choose, you can participate in 3 weekly surveys after you complete the first survey.
