Join the Research Security Division for a discussion of how to identify security risks to partnerships, basic steps you can take to mitigate these risks, and when to reach out to Research Security for guidance on assessing potential partners for risk.
Case-studies will be examined from local, national, and international contexts.

About the Speakers
Clayton Lewis
Clayton Lewis is the Manager of Outreach & Education in the Research Security Division at UCalgary. Previously he worked on socio-economic research and community engagement at the City of Grande Prairie. Clayton holds a PhD from York University.
Jessica Edge
Jessica Edge is the Manager of Due Diligence in the Research Security Division. Previously, Jessica was the Senior Policy Analyst in Government Relations at UCalgary. Jessica has a PhD in Political Science from McMaster University.
Navigating Partnered Research is a digital series hosted by the Knowledge Engagement team in Research Services to provide support and guidance for faculty members interested in pursuing partnerships with community.
