Summary
The Lung Health Foundation (LHF) Emerging Scholar Research Award aims to increase the capacity and quality of research on lung disease in Canada by providing early career investigators with the support needed to carry out independent research. By purposefully dedicating funding to support early career scientists, LHF hopes to foster the next generation of lung health researchers. This funding will allow young scientists to establish their programs of research in order to be eligible for larger, more impactful government grants. The award is intended as a research grant to complete the proposed research project.
