CaBHS: Calgary Bone Health Study
Summary
The University of Calgary is conducting a research study to investigate bone phenotypes and how they change over time using advanced medical imaging techniques.
The Bone Imaging Laboratory are looking for healthy, non-fractured volunteers over the age of 18 to participate in this study, and individuals over 50 years who have had a recent (less than 6 months) low trauma fragility fracture.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 110
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
Who? Male and female volunteers over the age of 18 years
What? Participants will be asked to have advanced bone imaging scans, complete some questionnaires, and provide information about their bone-related medical history
Where? The Bone Imaging Laboratory, University of Calgary, Foothills Campus
How Long? The total duration for participation is approximately 2 hours
