Endocannabinoids and Social Processing (ESP1)
Summary
We are investigating how our natural cannabinoid system, the part of our brain that responds to cannabis, influences social behaviors. By measuring these natural chemicals produced in our bodies, we can understand how different levels of our body's cannabinoids may determine how we socialize.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 60
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
You are eligible if you are:
1. between the ages of 18 and 60
2. English Speaking
Exclusion criteria:
You are not eligible if you:
1. Have been diagnosed with chronic pain
2. Have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder
3. Have been diagnosed with an endocrine disorder
4. Have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder
5. Have been diagnosed with a heart disease/condition
6. Regularly take anti-inflammatories or SSRIs
