Enhancing Recovery After Surgery
Summary
Surgery is not without risk, but evidence-based guidelines can minimize negative outcomes, including complications. The aim of this study is to understand how evidence-based guidelines are currently used and if there are opportunities to use them better. To do this, we are inviting patients and medical providers to tell us about their experiences with certain surgeries. Based on the information from patients and medical providers, we will create a plan to improve how guidelines are used to improve surgical outcomes.
