With over 10 years of experience in research, teaching, student advising, and strategic research support, Stephanie seeks creative, meaningful and inclusive ways to support and expand knowledge engagement and research assessment across the University of Calgary.

Marta is responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of the Knowledge Engagement communications and marketing plan. Her work includes dedicated marketing support to the portfolio including brand management, collateral development, advertising, special events and internal communications.

Fei Shu

Consultant, Research Assessment

Fei was a bibliometrician working on scholarly communication and research evaluation. With the input of a diverse array of stakeholders across the University of Calgary, Fei leads the institutional implementation of the recommendations of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).

Sarelle facilitates research partnerships between the University of Calgary and community organizations while building capacity in partnership best practices. She also supports faculty in knowledge mobilization planning and strategizing. Sarelle previously worked in community engagement and communications at various local non-profits.

Rachel develops new approaches and tools for research impact assessment activities in aide of the University of Calgary’s strategic research goals, including our commitment to shift the focus of research assessment from bibliometrics to research quality and impact - making a difference in the communities we serve.

Dr. Ottilia Berze, PhD

Consultant, Open Science Strategy

Ottilia leads the development and implementation of the institutional strategy for Open Science for the University of Calgary. She has spent over 20 years in leadership and change management roles collaboratively designing innovative solutions for complex problems. Ottilia is enabling a more open scholarship at the university to benefit academia as well as all of society.
