Ethno-Racial Traumas and Mental Health Among Immigrants and Refugees
Summary
We are conducting a study to learn about mental health among immigrants and refugees living in Canada.
We are interested in:
(1) how experienced trauma is associated with mental health symptoms;
(2) whether and how emotional and interpersonal processes affect the trauma-mental health association.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 65
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
1. 18-65 years of age
2. Self-identification as an immigrant or refugee
3. Visible minority (persons, other than Aboriginal peoples, who are non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour)
4. Currently residing in Canada
5. Working knowledge of English
