Experiences of anti-Black racism at the University of Calgary
Summary
The purpose of this study is to understand the prevalence and impact of anti-Black racism at the University of Calgary. Participants will complete an online survey that asks about their experiences of discrimination and racism. The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Participation in this study is voluntary and participants may withdraw from the study at any time. No identifying information will be shared with the public; all information is confidential.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 17 to 80
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
1. University of Calgary student
2. University of Calgary alumni (within 2 years of study)
3. University of Calgary current and previous staff (within 2 years of study)
4. University of Calgary current and previous instructors (within 2 years of study)
5. University of Calgary current and previous faculty members (within 2 years of study)
6. Seventeen years old+
Exclusion criteria:
1. Individuals under 17 years of age
2. Individuals who are not a student, alumni, staff or faculty at the University of Calgary
3. Individuals who are not Black and/or mixed race
