Gambling Motivation Study
Summary
The Addictive Behaviours Lab is conducting a research study examining the relationship between rewards, motivation, and gambling. As a participant, you will take part in a 60-minute laboratory session. The session will involve completing a computer-based task measuring motivation, a prize draw, and playing an online slot casino game. You will also be asked to answer various questions on demographics, gambling habits, and personality characteristics. You will be asked to complete a short follow-up survey two weeks after your session. Participation will remain confidential. All participants will receive a $20 gift card for the laboratory session, a $5 gift card for completing the follow-up survey, and a gift card for whatever amount won through the prize draw.
