Summary
This proposed research explores high school science teachers' understanding of the educational potential of shared experiences between immigrant teachers and immigrant students.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 20 to 60
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
Adults:
with at least five years of experience as a science teacher in Canada.
Immigrants to Canada and have a home/first language other than English or French.
Have completed some of their education (elementary, high school, and/or post-secondary) in Canada.
Have immigrated to Canada and have done some of their schooling in English-speaking schools in their country of origin, but their home language and first language are their native language.
