Inner Experience and Cognition
Summary
The purpose of this study is to understand the phenomenon of the wandering mind. During the study, we will ask you to complete a computer task online. During this task, you will be presented with some stimuli, to which you have to respond. Finally, we may ask you to report your ongoing experience, as well as attention and mood levels in your daily life. The University of Calgary Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board has approved this research study.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 17 to 65
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
You are eligible to participate if you
1) are 17-65 years of age,
2) are free of neurological disorders (e.g. traumatic brain injury)
3) are free of current diagnosis of psychiatric disorders
4) have normal range vision,
5) are able to read, write and speak English.
