A qualitative study of patients' experiences, perceptions, concerns, stressors, and needs managing type 1 diabetes through pregnancy
Summary
We are recruiting women in Canada with type 1 diabetes who are currently pregnant or have been pregnant for a research study.
We are asking women to participate in interviews to discuss their experiences and challenges while living with type 1 diabetes during pregnancy.
Eligible participants from anywhere in Canada will be invited to take part in a focus group remotely over Zoom.
Participation in this study will require about 1-2 hours.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 50
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
I01. Self-report of previous diagnosis of T1D for at least 12 months
I02. Self-report of previous or current pregnancy
I03. Able to provide informed consent
I04. Have access to internet for Zoom video call
