Summary
Why did teaching principals stay in their roles in small rural and remote schools in the Northwest Territories?
The purpose is to examine which experiences and reasons helped these people remain in their role, in one community for three or more years.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 20 to 80
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
1. Teaching small school principal in the Northwest Territories
2. Stayed in the job and community for three or more years
3. Shared their experiences and reasons for staying
Exclusion criteria:
1. Non-teaching principals in the Northwest Territories
2. Larger schools (with more than 50 students)
