Lorna Very has spent the last three decades supporting the research enterprise at the University of Calgary. She has worked in the areas of research contracts and agreements, grant administration, training programs, prizes and awards, ethics and compliance and most recently the quality assurance program for clinical research.
Lorna is currently on the Canadian Association of Research Administrators (CARA) Executive Board where she serves as a member-at-large. In 2016, she was awarded CARA’s Dan Chase Distinguished Service Award: Priority Initiatives in recognition of her significant leadership and commitment to CARA.
