The biomechanical and physiological effects of women-specific running shoes.
Summary
We are conducting a study to compare a new female-specific running shoes. The study involves 1-hour treadmill running sessions at different intensities while collecting data on your body's responses, such as heart rate and oxygen consumption. You will also be asked to provide feedback on your comfort and experience with the shoes. By participating, you can gain insights into your running performance and receive a pair of FitFlop shoes and gift cards as a thank-you for your time.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 45
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
We are looking for:
-female recreational runners
-aged 18-45 years
-injury-free for the last 6 months
-can run 10 kilometers in 70 minutes or less.
-shoe size 7.5 or 9
