Pan-Canadian Initiative Linking Genomic, Environmental and Mental Health Data in Children and Youth (Pan-GEM)
Summary
The Pan-GEM study aims to better understand risk factors associated with mental health concerns in children and youth. The study is specifically interested in examining genetics and early life exposures to better understand how they impact the onset and progression of mental health concerns in children and youth.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 6 to 25
Inclusion criteria:
(1) Children and youth 6-25 years of age
(2) Seeking help for treatment of a mental health concern
(3) Able to read and write in English
(4) Able to complete mental health questionnaires independently (parents/guardians can complete or help complete for children 11 years of age or younger)
Exclusion criteria:
Children and youth not seeking help for a mental health concern.
