Voices in the Art
Summary
We are doing a study to understand the experiences of newcomer 2SLGBTIQA+ youth in Canada. We are using a method called Arts-Based Engagement Ethnography (ABEE) to look into different parts of their lives, such as (1) their many identities, (2) how they become part of Canadian society, (3) their social lives and relationships, and (4) any experiences they have with gender-based violence. Our goal is to learn more about the varied experiences of newcomer 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Canada.
