Your personal information is collected under the authority of section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be used for the administering the Alberta Innovates High School Youth Researcher Summer (HYRS) Program, including for the purposes of determining eligibility.
Information collected in this application including, transcripts, name, email, high school information, will be limited to a select group of individuals involved in the administration of the award program and to those individuals who require access for the above purposes, including the Research Services Office administering the HYRS program, and volunteer adjudicators consisting of Alberta High School teachers and UCalgary Postdoctoral Scholars.
The personal information you provide may be disclosed to Alberta Innovates for the purposes of information verification, government reporting and/or to comply with statutory or contractual obligations. De-identified and aggregate information may also be disclosed to third parties for promotional purposes Students may be contacted by a representative of the University by phone, or email to complete a verification confirmation of their eligibility status. The University of Calgary may contact you for matters relating to your application and/or administration of the HYRS program
