2024 T. Chen Fong Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medical Imaging Science

Eligibility

To apply for this award, your research must focus on:

1) The development or implementation of imaging science with relevance to medical imaging applications;

2) Or, a broader range of imaging applications with a potential link to medical imaging.

The successful candidate must have completed a Ph.D. in Medical Imaging or another research discipline with direct relevance to applications or techniques in radiology and medical imaging between November 1, 2021, and October 31, 2024. The recipient of this fellowship is expected to carry out a program of independent research, present one or more departmental seminars for students and faculty, and contribute on an informal basis to other departmental activities.

Summary

T. Chen Fong is a Calgary-based entrepreneur, community leader, and radiologist who is passionate about training the next generation of doctors and translating university-based discoveries into products that will benefit humanity. The 2024 T. Chen Fong Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medical Imaging Science honours the contributions to research, teaching, and our community made by Dr. T. Chen Fong, and seeks to advance the field of medical imaging science.
