Collective Resilience among People of Chinese Heritage in Canada
Summary
We are doing a study to learn about the mental health among people of Chinese background in Canada. We are interested in:
(1) how our community and Chinese cultural beliefs can protect against psychological distress;
(2) whether/how experiences of race-related stress and discrimination affect mental health.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 65
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
(1) self-identified as of Chinese heritage, or as 华人/华裔; (2) 18-65 years old; (3) currently residing in Canada; (4) able to read and write English fluently.
