Summary

The LevMax-Health program is an enabling mechanism to advance Digital Health in Alberta. The current opportunity seeks high-quality applications from Alberta-based post-secondary academic institutions that have been submitted to Tri-agency (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR) competitions and will advance Digital Health in Alberta. There are two thematic areas for consideration: research and health system transformation.

The LevMax-Health program will contribute to the project’s original Tri-agency application budget to a maximum amount of $750,000 CAD for a maximum term of 36 months. Final decisions on budget and term are at the sole discretion of Alberta Innovates.

Only those applicants who have received results (competition score and peer review comments) from a Tri-agency competition from February 1, 2024, to July 31, 2024 and were not funded are eligible.

A complete application must incluide:

  • Alberta Innovates application form
  • the original application submitted to the Tri-agency competition
  • reviewer comments from the Tri-agency evaluation
  • reviewer scores from the Tri-agency evaluation
  • Letter of Decision from the relevant Tri-agency
