A Qualitative Study in the Community Associated with Anabolic Steroid Use
Summary
Anabolic Steroid (AAS) use is a major problem in the gym world. However, not many studies have been conducted on attitudes related to primary care physicians or gym-goers have surrounding them. To ensure the safety of gym-goers, and to possibly identify changes in attitudes towards AAS use at an early stage, this study is being done to see how gym goers view AAS, in the context of the modern, social-media driven world.
Eligibility
Eligible ages: 18 to 70
Accepts healthy participants: Yes
Inclusion criteria:
1) >18 years of age
2) Regularly weight train in alberta currently or in the past
3) Have used anabolic steroids at least once in your life
4) Family physicians with experience practicing in Alberta
