This is a competitive process, with the finalists being selected by the laureates themselves. 

Up to five investigators will be chosen to give 10 minute talks in association with the Laureate Lectures on October 26, 2023, to participate in a follow-up networking session with 2023 laureates and to attend the 2023 Awards Gala on October 26, 2023 (travel and hotel provided). The talks will be broadcast live and recorded for YouTube distribution globally.

Summary

APPLICANTS MUST INDICATE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING LAUREATE OPTIONS AS THEIR INTENDED MATCH:

Bonnie BasslerMichael SilvermanPeter Greenberg  - Quorum sensing, bacterial biology 

Demis HassabisJohn Jumper     - Protein structure prediction, artificial intelligence in research

José Belizán     - Perinatal health, evidence-based interventions, community inclusion in research

Christopher Mushquash - Culturally- and contextually-led research and interventions, mental health and substance abuse

Gelareh Zadeh     - Brain tumour biology, treatment and early detection

Submissions should include a 2 minute video proposal for your research presentation, plus a 100 word summary explaining how your science relates to one or more of this year’s laureates and what you hope to learn from your interactions with them. If you wish to use slides in your video we request no more than two (2) be included.

This call is open to all faculty and professionals at the Assistant Professor or equivalent rank.

ONLY ONE SUBMISSION ALLOWED PER INDIVIDUAL.
